Step 6: You can also select Information to view the Assignment information dialog box.

Another way to assign resources is by simply dragging the task assignment from one resource grouping to another. The task assignment appears as a horizontal bar until you release the mouse button.

Resolving Resource Conflicts

To reschedule a task to the next available date, use the following procedure.

Step 1: Open the Task Usage sheet. To do so, select the View tab from the Ribbon. Select Task Usage.

Step 2: Right-click on a task with an over allocation icon.
